Hello!

Hello!

So I'm finally doing it. I am starting my own blog and this time, I am going to make sure that I get past an introductory post and actually you know, blog! I have always wanted to write my own blog, but it's been difficult to find the time, the motivation, and the inspiration to do it. But I think now is the right time. Also, I am super keen to get back into writing, and I think that this might help me do just that. I don't know if this happens to everybody or not, but for me personally, I think that my uni degree actually took away my imagination. Before I started university, I read and wrote for fun constantly. One of my dreams has always been to write a novel, and when I was younger, I was able to conjure up the imagination and creativity to write poems, songs, short stories, anything! Now I can only just about manage writing essays and I just don't get the same joy from it! Some essays have been really interesting to write, and my master's dissertation has been interesting to research, but I really want to get back into creative writing, and get into expressing myself through a blog!

I also want to write a blog because I think it would be really cool for the future Chrissy (me) to look back and reflect on everything. Plus I probably write too many facebook statuses, and over-share on instagram, so it's only natural that I start a blog so I can express myself in a way that hopefully won't irritate people as much! 

Anyway, I'll be off now, because I have a lot to do! I am trying to get fitter so I am dedicating some time to exercising on our cross-trainer just before lunch. I am also in the process of moving into my boyfriend's place, which is very exciting, but it also means I have so much unpacking and shifting around to do. Not to mention the fact that I am trying to find a job, have to prep for an upcoming interview, and oh yeah, carry on writing my dissertation!

I'll hopefully be back with my first proper blog post in a few days time, maybe even sooner!
